Obituary For Terrell Franklin McLemore

Terrell "Terry" Franklin McLemore, 71, of Green Ridge, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his home. He was born on January 27, 1947 in Marietta, GA, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Winnie Elizabeth (Cannon) McLemore, who preceded him in death.

On January 10, 1970 in Green Ridge, MO, he was united in marriage to Anita Louise Carlson, who survives of the home.

Terry was a member of the Green Ridge Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and then worked as an LPN at Bothwell Regional Health Center for 22 years retiring in 2007. Terry enjoyed flower gardening, watching Gun Smoke, listening to music, going to historical museums, and antiquing. Terry loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he loved the most.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian McLemore and wife Sara of Mora, MO; a daughter, Carolyn White and husband Tommy of Green Ridge, MO; eight grandchildren, Katelyn McLemore, Jordan Hensley, Austin Hensley, Kendall McLemore, Cody (McKenzie) White, Mariah White, Whitney White, Destiney White; 4 great grandchildren; and Don Andes, of Independence, MO whom he considered a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnny Streit officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be at Green Ridge Cemetery with full military honors conducted by Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Guard and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Pallbearers will be Tommy's Crew.

Honorary bearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Missouri Honor Flight in care of the funeral chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
