14 years ago, Tony was running sound at the Kitchen Pass on an 'Open Mic' night. Being a musical "fledgling" I was scared. after I played a couple of songs nervously, my battery died, I was devastated and said to myself, "well maybe I should give up." Tony got me another 9v battery and said, "You got a great sound, stop being nervous. You play for you, the crowd will respond to your energy; and don't worry I will find our sweet spot on the soundboard." So I played the next set and never gave up. He came over to my house, I went over and practiced at the shop... We'd talk out our ass about physics, nano-tech, politics, etc. And even though we may not always have seen 'eye to eye' we always parted with an "I love you brother" and a "Dammit we need to do this more often." He was truly a great man and a cherished friend to many.

It's been many years since I last saw Tony but I bet he was just as genuine and kind as he was in school. My heart breaks for your loss, he really was one of the good guys. I can't attend the service, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless.

Tony was a close friend of my brother Curtis. He was like a big brother to me in highschool . You will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers for all of his family.

We met in are younger years with aspirations of making a lasting friendship. As we got older our lives took different directions. But always knew that you were my brother from another mother and someday we will renew old acquaintance. Dearest sympathy to family and friends who truly knew him.
