Mary L Shepard

Mary Lou Shepard, 84, of Sedalia, MO passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at EW Thompson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia. She was born on July 16, 1934 in Sedalia, the daughter of Clarence and Alpha (Garrigus) Kuhns, who preceded her in death.

She enjoyed taking her boys roller skating when they were younger, reading, going shopping, dressing fashionably, and collecting jewelry. She especially loved her family.

Survivors include her sons Kevin Shepard of Oklahoma and Chris Shepard (Teresa) of Sedalia; brother Dean Kuhns (Judy) of LaMonte, MO, six grandchildren, Travis Shepard, Dakota Shepard, Nic Shepard, Tristan Shepard, Logan Shepard, and Chase Shepard, and the father of her boys, Jack E. Shepard.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Shepard.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to service time.

Interment will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
