Mary Ann Burford

Mary Ann (Arnold) Burford, 83, of St. Louis, formerly of Sedalia, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at her home in St. Louis, MO. She was born on August 27, 1935 in Pettis County, MO the daughter of Albert M. Arnold Sr. and Margaret K. (Klenklen) Arnold, who preceded her in death.

On June 28, 1958, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Hubert D. Burford, who resides in the home.

Mary Ann worked for Lamy's Manufacturing and in her later years she did house cleaning until retiring. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, making jewelry, and all other kinds of handwork. She loved volunteering for the Salvation Army ringing the bell and at the Sheltered Workshop in St. Louis.

In addition to her husband Hubert, she is survived by a daughter, Juanita Burford of St. Louis; two brothers, Ernest Arnold and Albert Arnold, Jr. of Sedalia; three sisters, Alberta Miller and her husband Billy, Catherine Arnold, and Sharon Doll all of Sedalia; three nephews, a niece; and a great nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J.E. Arnold; and an infant sister.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be at Potter Cemetery at a later date.
