Obituary For Jackie Leon Bradley

Jackie Leon Bradley, 83, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 29, 1935 in Calhoun, MO, the son of Herbert and Beulah Mae (Pinkston) Bradley, who preceded him in death.

On June 17, 1960 in Warsaw, MO, he was united in marriage to Nancy McMillin, who survives of the home. They would have been married fifty-eight years.

Jackie was a 1954 graduate of Calhoun High School where he was an outstanding basketball player. He enjoyed all sports, but was especially a Kansas City Royals fan. Jackie coached little league baseball teams in Sedalia for many years. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a contract mail carrier for over fifty years. He will be greatly missed.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his six children, Jeffery Bradley (Carolyn) of New London, MO, Douglas Bradley, Gregory Bradley (Tandy), Valerie Coonce (Gene), Amy Hunter (Jimmy), and Alisha Goodwin (Steve), all five from Sedalia; brothers, Kenneth Bradley (Linda) of Sedalia and Danny Bradley (Tanya) of Warsaw; sister, Joyce Eisle of Calhoun, MO; nine grandchildren, Aaron Dotson, Joshua Coonce, Alex Bradley, Zach Hunter, Skyler Hunter, Dakota Bradley, Wesley Bradley, Kaitlynn Goodwin, and Alexis Goodwin; five step-grandchildren, Corey Cornelius, Crystal Brown, Abby Brown, Owen Brown, and Bailey Brown; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Dotson, Jack Bernhardt, Brooklyn Coonce, and Eliana Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 15, 2018 at Shiloh Cemetery in Benton County, MO with Rev. Dan Hankins, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
