Obituary for Heath J. (Moose) Wissman

Heath J. (Moose) Wissman, 46, of Sedalia passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, MO. He was born on February 22, 1973 in Sedalia, MO the son of Donald Lee Wissman and Janet K. (Broyles) Wissman, who preceded him in death.

Moose was a heavy equipment operator for Local 101 IUOE. He was a member of the Sedalia Elks Lodge #125, Sedalia Masonic Lodge #272 AF&AM. Moose enjoyed going hunting, fishing, telling Moose stories, and especially loved spending most his time with family and friends.

Survivors include three sons, Ty Wissman and Brenden Wissman (Cheyenne) of Sedalia and Cody R. Wissman of Branson, MO; several grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dan Hankins Officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Chapel with a Masonic service being conducted at 6:15 p.m.

Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Ty Wissman, Brenden Wissman, Bart Wissman, Jeremy Johnson, Nathan Morris, Tim Morris, and Jeff Davis.

Honorary bearers will be Members of Elks Lodge #125, Members of Sedalia Masonic Lodge #272 AF&AM, Local 101 IUOE.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
