Obituary For Eleanor Gail Trent

Eleanor Gail Trent, 86, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on December 25, 1932 in Sedalia, the daughter of Lafayette Henry and Josephine (Shepherd) Bohling, who preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to Lester Earl Jones who preceded her in death. In April of 1962 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Charles C. St.Cyr who preceded her in death on August 21, 1998. In 1979, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Billy Eugene Trent who preceded her in death in June of 1986.

Eleanor worked in housekeeping at Bothwell Regional Health Center for many years until retirement. She enjoyed going shopping and going out to eat with her family and friends.

Survivors include four children, Jennifer D. St.Cyr - Ramey (Bob) of Sedalia, Holly J. Thomlinson (George) of Sedalia, Suzanne St.Cyr of Sedalia, Julie Hopper of Columbia; five grandchildren, Jimmy, Michelle, Lance, Ryan, and Trevon; several great grandchildren; and a brother Gordon Bohling of Claremore, OK

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah G. Fairfax; a son, Gary L. Jones; three sisters, Doris Dawn, Theda Jo Mitchell, and Phyllis Ann Lindenmeyer.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jim Downing, Jr., officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Gary Romig, Bob Milner, Rick Lashley, Wes Lazenby, Paul Williams, and Jimmy Fairfax.

Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Lindenmeyer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
