Obituary For Douglas Wray Casdorph

Douglas Wray Casdorph, 55, of Sedalia passed away June 3, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1963 in Sedalia, MO the son of Ora A. and Mildred H. (Carrico) Casdorph Sr, who preceded him in death.

On April 24, 1982 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to his high school sweet heart Julie M. Riggs, who resides of the home.

Doug served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1981 until 1983. He worked for Rival Manufacturing as a forklift operator. He enjoy fishing, being outdoors, wood working and especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was dearly loved by his family and all who knew him. Doug will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

In addition to his wife Julie, he is survived by three sons, Nicholas B. Casdorph (Adrian Cornelius) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Justin D. Casdorph (Keisha Schock) of Sedalia, and Christopher Riggs (Carrie) of Tipton; a daughter, Celesta "Callie" Casdorph of Sedalia; seven grandchildren, Dakota, Tristen, Orianna, Andrea, Sophira, Damion, and Anthony; a sister, Mary Jane Garrigus of Warsaw

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Anthony B. Casdorph; two sisters, Orlene and Margie Tinker; a brother, Ora A. Casdorph, Jr.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Duane Duchesne, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
