Bless you David, my cousin. I remember the bright red car you had as a teen. My brother and I were just kids and we loved to go for rides with gravel flying on those roads near Granddad Smith’s. Fun times for your two city cousins And that giggly laugh you had….so full of life. Be at Peace and rest easy. Your job here is done…your cousin, Melinda

David’s intense eyes and sweet smile reflected his beautiful soul. He was always so much fun to be around and we loved to hear his laugh. Anyone who ever met him loved him. He had a heart of gold and truly cared about everyone. Our deepest sympathies to the entire family, especially his wife Lynette (whom you seldom saw without David); his brother Danny (whom spent many hours at our house growing up) and his daughters and grandkids, whom he was so very proud of. You should all be proud of the life he lived and the love he shared. The entire Ramey and Johnson families will always cherish our many memories of times spent together. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

I met Dave at Wilson Foods, he was a kind and gracious man in a harsh environment. Dave always had a smile and a word of encouragement for everyone he saw, day and day out. He was the type of man that you would strive to be some day. I had high respect for Dave, it was an honor to know him. May he rest in peace.
