Obituary For Brian Scott Rowe
Brian Scott Rowe, 56, of Tipton, MO, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at his home. He was born on June 7, 1962 in Independence, MO, the son of Marion and Diana (Zimmerman) Rowe.
Brian enjoyed watching KU basketball, the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs, and auto racing. He especially liked Jeff Gordon. He attended State Fair Community College and worked as a department manager for Packers Sanitation. As a youth he earned his Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia. Brian loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his parents, Marion and Diane Rowe of Shawnee, KS; daughter, Jessica Rowe (David Soverns) of Smithton, MO; sister, Karen Offill (Eric) of Shawnee, KS; brothers, Mark Burton (Lynda) of Independence, MO, Bradley Burton (Bobbi) of Shawnee, KS, Douglas Burton of Palm Springs, CA, and Craig Burton of New York, NY; and two grandchildren, Braden and Ashlynn.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother Diana Zimmerman Rowe.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO with Rev. Larry Hill officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Brian's grandson Braden .
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
