Mary Lou McCracken

28381944_10156542514079305_1319942251_nMary Lou McCracken, 90, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Rest Haven Convalescent Home in Sedalia. She was born on May 28, 1927 in Columbia, MO, the daughter of Richard M. and Rose D. (West) Biggs, who preceded her in death.

On January 4, 1947 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to James Andrew Hageman, who preceded her in death on August 6, 1970. On July 3, 1976 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Robert W. McCracken, who resides of the home.

Mary Lou loved traveling with her husband on his job, and they made many trips to other States on vacations. Mary loved working in her home, She loved raising flowers, shrubs, and trees. Her greatest love was serving the Lord, and working in the church, she taught Sunday school and Bible class for many years, and was in charge of the women’s group. One of her other great joys was being with her family, and helping with her grand children. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by four children, Kathy Cramer, Becky Arbisi, Debby Chancellor (Bob), and Stan Hageman (Terrie) all of Sedalia; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Richard Biggs; and a sister, Frances Virginia May.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harvey Pace officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm. until 4:00 pm. Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Mike Chancellor, Matt Hageman, Adam Cramer, Ryan Cramer, Tony Arbisi, and Erik Arbisi.

Honorary bearers will be Joel Sherman, Mike Bauer, and Sam Jones.

The Family wants to greatly thank Rest Haven nursing home, and Crossroads Hospice, and Rea Chapel and all the wonderful employees of each of these organizations for their loving care.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Show-Me-Christian Youth Home in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
