Mary Caroline (McNulty) Fisher Quinlan

img365Mary Caroline (McNulty) Fisher Quinlan, 83, of Sedalia, Missouri passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at her home in Sedalia. She was born on August 8, 1934 in Smithton, MO, the daughter of William and Dora (Cramer) McNulty, who preceded her in death.

On August 2, 2003, in Pilot Grove, MO, she was united in marriage to Wilbur Quinlan, who survives of the home.

Caroline was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sedalia. She worked at JC Penney’s for over 37 years. She loved dancing in Marshall, MO and watching game shows. She enjoyed celebrating Christmas and collecting Santa Clauses. She dearly loved all her grand and great grandchildren and adored her “Honey” Wilbur.

Besides her husband Wilbur, she is survived by her children Beci Hammond (Mark) of Sedalia;
Steven Fisher, Warren Quinlan (Patty), and Jack Quinlan all of Columbia, MO; six grandchildren, Geoffrey Hammond, Joseph Hammond (Alicia), Matthew Fisher (Jessica), Gabrielle Miner (Mason), Holly Jett, and Kevin Quinlan; ten great grandchildren; and her sister Betty Bowman of Hughesville, MO and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Warren Fisher, daughter Carol Fisher, son Daniel Fisher, brothers Garland McNulty and Caleb McNulty, and sisters June Brown and Margaret Bowman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO, with Rev. Glen Sparks officiating.

A family visitation will take place one hour before service time at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Mason Miner, Garland “Skeeter” McNulty, Frank Stapley, Geoffrey Hammond, Joseph Hammond and Matthew Fisher..

Honorary bearers will be Sue Martin, Janice Barton, Louise Janis, Nina Tobaben, Phyllis Montgomery, Hazel Snavely, Donna Bartley, Donnie Jones, Jim Edwards and Kevin Quinlan.

Burial will be at County Line Cemetery, La Monte, MO

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
