Joseph Cameron Petree, 53, of Sedalia passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home in Sedalia, MO. He was born on November 26, 1962 in Sedalia, Missouri the son of Orval Edgar, Sr. and Anna Louise (Colvin) Petree.
On October 3, 2007 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Regina Lynn Heckart who survives of the home.
Joe owned and operated Unlimited Construction Company for eight years and has worked in the construction business with his dad and brothers his entire life. Joe was best known for being a prankster and playing jokes on his family and friends. Joe loved riding his Harley and especially loves his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and boating.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by his mother, Anna Louise Petree of Sedalia; three children Lachelle Flores of Sedalia; Joshua Petree of Columbia, MO; Jessica Stetzenbach and her husband Brandon of Sedalia; four step children, Samantha Stafford, Shanda Blackmore, Bryce and Trent Johnson all of Sedalia; three brothers, Gary Petree and his wife Juanita, Orval Petree, Jr, and his wife Julie, and Mitch Petree and his wife Debbie all of Sedalia; four sisters, Christine Staus and her husband Andy of Smithton, Cyndi Knight of Sedalia, Cheryl Bell and her husband Michael of Sedalia and Jami Cramer and her husband Dudley of Sedalia; eight grandchildren, Alexus, RaeQuan, Jonathan, Anthony, Ivan, Annamarie, Kobyn, and Clayton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orval Edgar Petree, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Pastor Mike Hedrick officiating.
Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Petree, Bryce Johnson, Trent Johnson, RaeQuan Williams, Mark Waller and Corey Taber.
Honorary bearers will be his grandchildren and Jason Pate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
