Moving Beyond Loss to a Richer Quality of Life

One of the least addressed concerns in our society is grief, the normal and natural reaction to loss. The Grief Recovery Method Outreach Program, based on the Grief Recovery Handbook, will guide those who wish to resolve their loss issues and move beyond their grief to a richer quality of life. 

Class may be joined during the first 2 weeks then it becomes a closed group.

Ninth Annual Sedalia Firefighters Memorial Ride

The 9th Annual Sedalia Firefighters Local 103 Memorial Ride will take place June 23.

Riders will depart from Liberty Park at 11:00 a.m. and finish at the Doo Southside Pub (Dickie Doo) at 4:00 p.m.

A press release from the Sedalia Fire Department says that 100% of the proceeds will be used to provide scholarships for those interested in a career in Fire and EMS, and to help maintain the Firefighters memorial at Liberty Park.

Pre-registration is underway and can be completed at the Sedalia Fire Headquarters, located at 2606 W.16th Street. Registration can also be done online through the Sedalia Firefighters Local 103 Facebook page.

Early registration is $15.00 and includes a free ride pin.

Registration on June 23 is $20.00, which begins at 9:00 a.m.
