Charles Ray Busing, 54, of Sedalia passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 4, 1962 in Clinton, the son of Ray Edward Busing, who preceded him in death and Erma Ann (Balke) Busing, who resides in Sedalia.
In 1983 in Sedalia, he was untied in marriage to Michelle Hammond, who resides in Sparks, NV. On April 15, 1995 in Sedalia he was united in marriage to Sumiko Uchihara, who resides of the home.
Charles owned and operated the Handy Man Service in Sedalia. He worked as a security guard and restaurant inspector for Hardee’s in Higginsville and Kansas City, MO. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army stationed at Ft. Jackson, SC. Charles enjoyed fishing, teaching his step son to repair things and helping others fix just about anything.
Besides his wife, Sumiko and mother, Erma he is also survived by a son, Caleb Ray Busing of Grandview; two daughters, Rachelle Nichole Cruz of Reno, NV and Krissa Brim of Osawatomie, KS; a step son, Omer Dee Greer of Lake Ozark; five sisters, Donna Gentges (Randy), Kimberly Busing, Janet Kempf, Brenda Edwards (Duane) and Amy Foose (Jimmie), all of Sedalia; a brother, Timothy Busing (Diana) of Cole Camp; three grandchildren, David, Araceli, and Scarlett; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
Besides his father Ray, he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Busing.
A Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, Sedalia with Pastor Don Satterwhite and Pastor Ted Francis officiating..
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
