Founded in 2009, Rea Funeral Chapel offers funeral and cremation services to families across the Sedalia, MO community. We are a locally-owned and operated business dedicated to serving your needs during one of life’s most difficult times. Our goal is to provide you with a stress-free experience by blending our vast experience and compassionate hearts.

Brad & Sarah Rea

Owners

Brad Rea is a Missouri licensed funeral director and embalmer, graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1990. He has served the Sedalia area for over 30 years

Brad is a member of the Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club, a board member of the Sedalia Senior Center, a member of the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce, where he served as an Ambassador, and an elder of Lifepointe Church, Sedalia.

Sarah Rea (Broyles) is the office manager and co-owner of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Sarah is also a member of Lifepointe Church, Sedalia, where she is very active in the music and children’s ministries. She is frequently involved in community service events and mission projects.

Sarah and Brad have three children, Andrea, Trevor, and Cooper.

Eddie Saltgaver

Eddie is a funeral attendant and assists in various areas at the funeral home.
He serves on the Smithton, MO city council, and he and his wife, Joyce, attend Life Pointe Church.

Dylan Wolfe

Dylan Wolfe is the preneed manager.

Dylan grew up in rural Dresden, MO, and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 2017.

He maintains a Preneed Agent license with the Missouri Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers, and a Missouri Life Insurance Producer License with the Missouri Board of Insurance. Dylan is a Combat Veteran and was a Missouri Army National Guard soldier for 6 years (2016-2022) serving in Iraq in 2018-2019. He is the Junior Vice Commander at the VFW Post #2591 and the Sgt of Arms for the VFW Post #2591 Riders Group. Dylan is also a member of the Sedalia Young Professionals.

Dylan resides in rural Smithton, MO with his wife Harley and their daughter Evelyn. They have many animals but love above all, their dogs Braxton and Archie.

Cooper Rea

Cooper is a funeral attendant and assists in various areas at the funeral home. Cooper is a 2020 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He plans to attend State Fair Community College and then pursue a degree in marine biology.

Valerie Glenn
Valerie graduated from LaMonte High school and studied Psychology and Early Childhood Development at State Fair Community College in Sedalia.

Valerie invests her time as a dedicated single mother to two beautiful daughters, Chloe and Claire (dog, Willow, and cat, Sassy). She was an active room mother, PTO member, and preschool teacher before joining the Rea Funeral Chapel family in early 2019.

Along with her many duties as Receptionist, Valerie also assists in the planning and preparing of services, as well as designing our custom tapestries, urns, cap panels, and other merchandise.

Carissa Crow
Carissa Crow is a funeral director and preneed agent licensed in Missouri. She graduated with a degree in Mortuary Science from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2004 and found her passion in serving families in their greatest time of need.

Carissa enjoys giving back to her community and church. Over the years, she has served in many capacities with her kids’ schools, including PTO president, treasurer, secretary, apparel sales, website, yearbook, and working as a substitute teacher. She enjoys teaching the kids at church through Sunday School, AWANA, Word of Life, and Bible Skills, Drills and Thrills.

Carissa and her husband, Nathan, have three children, Carly, Cheyenne, and Cameron.

Originally from Kansas, Carissa and her family now call Sedalia home and look forward to getting involved in the community.
