Brad Rea, Funeral Director/Owner

Brad Rea is a Missouri licensed funeral director and embalmer, graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1990. He has served the Sedalia area for nearly 30 years. 

Brad is a member of the Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club, board member of the Sedalia Senior Center, member of the Sedalia area Chamber of Commerce, where he served as an Ambassador, and an elder of Lifepointe Church, Sedalia. Brad and his wife Sarah (Broyles) have three children, Andrea, Trevor and Cooper. 

Brad opened his doors at Rea Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services in September of 2009. 

Sarah Rea, Office Manager / Owner

Sarah Rea (Broyles) is the office manager and co-owner of Rea Funeral Chapel. 

Sarah is a member of Lifepointe Church, Sedalia where she is very active in the music and children’s ministries. She is frequently involved in community service events and mission projects. Sarah and Brad have three children, Andrea, Trevor and Cooper. 

Dan Hankins, Funeral Director

Dan Hankins is a Missouri licensed funeral director and preneed agent. He also maintains a Missouri life insurance license.

Dan is an ordained minister and is the staff chaplain. He also serves as the pastor of Antioch Baptist Church near Green Ridge, MO. Dan and his wife Ruth have three children, Caleb, Samuel, and Lucas.

 

Josie McKellips, Administration

Josie McKellips is the administrative assistant, graphics production artist, and public notary.

Josie enjoys photography and spending time with her daughter Madison.

 

Eddie Saltsgaver, Funeral Attendant

Eddie Saltsgaver is a funeral attendant and assists in various areas at the funeral home.

Eddie serves on the Smithton, MO city council and he and his wife Joyce are members of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Kelsie Gudde, Funeral Attendant

Kelsie Gudde is a funeral attendant and assists in various areas at the funeral home.

Kelsie has graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services and is preparing for a career as an embalmer. 

Her world revolves around her daughter Aver’ee.

 

 Dylan Wolfe, Funeral Attendant

Dylan Wolfe is a funeral attendant and is currently deployed with the Missouri Army National Guard.

Dylan’s wife Elizabeth looks forward to his safe return.

 

Cooper Rea, Funeral Attendant 

Cooper Rea is a funeral attendant and assists in vehicle and grounds maintenance.

Cooper is student at Smith-Cotton High School and is very active in sports.

 

Jaquay Buckner, Funeral Attendant

 Jaquay Buckner is a funeral attendant and assists in vehicle and grounds maintenance.

Jaquay is a senior at Smith-Cotton High School and works at Bothwell Hospital. He has plans to attend the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service after graduation.
